Vivek is a serial entrepreneur who is currently an adjunct faculty member at Duke's Business School. He writes a regular column on entrepreneurship in BusinessWeek. I couldn't agree more with his perspective on bootstrapping.
So, i am reading the article about you in business week small biz, and I have to say...I love your idea, it is genius. You see, I, myself, am somewhat of an entrepreneur. I am only 17 (well I’ll be 18 in may) and I have a small web-page design company in my name. we have a very bad website that I made when I was first learning web design, but the websites we have made afterwards are very good. For example, my student newspaper just got a website, at my request. My business partner and I have it set up using PHP, and MySQL, so that the members just log-on and upload articles, then they are approved by the sponsor, then me, being the webmaster, sends them live. But, I didn’t write to you to brag about what I do; I wrote to you to talk about these bootstrapping networks, how do I join, what if I live way…outside of anywhere where these networks are? I live south of St. Louis, Missouril.
